10 Days, 15 New Collars Deployed

For the fourth consecutive year, MWA has been proud to partner with John Morgan and Tristan Parsons, from Parsons Aviation, in supporting crucial wildlife conservation efforts across Mozambique 🌍.

📡🐘 This year's operation took place in two key conservation areas: Chipanje Chetu in Niassa and Maputo National Park. John’s and Tristan’s continued generosity and dedication have made a significant impact on various wildlife management projects. Together, they worked alongside our wildlife vet Hugo Pereira, demonstrating their commitment to protecting Mozambique’s wildlife and landscapes.

📈 This year's collaring efforts focused on iconic species, including:

- Elands

- Sables

- Elephants

- Buffaloes

- Lions

Total Animals Collared: 15

These collaring operations give us essential data on animal movements, helping different projects manage wildlife better and keep track of these incredible species across vast landscapes.

🤝 This operation wouldn’t have been possible without the collaboration of key partners such as Yambone Conservation, Chipanje Chetu, Peace Parks Foundation and Maputo National Park that played essential roles in supporting this operation. Their involvement helped ensure the mission's success, highlighting the strength of working together for a common conservation goal.
