Immobilization of Cheetahs for Placement of GPS/VHF Collars in the Marromeu Complex

In collaboration with Zambeze Delta Safaris, MWA veterinarians immobilized three cheetahs at Coutada 11 for the placement of GPS/VHF collars.

One of these cheetahs was recovered from Coutada 10 and reintroduced in Coutada 11.

These collars allow continuous monitoring of these animals in the protected area of the Marromeu complex.
